Moises brings together mature business acumen, creativity, and technology to help companies grow and differentiate in their industries. Currently, he serves as the Head of Product and Innovation at MiTek, a Berkshire Hathaway company, where he leads a team dedicated to transforming the construction industry. Previously, he led the transformation of Moen into the most innovative plumbing brand in America. As the Director of Strategic Innovation at Allstate Insurance, and earlier as the Global Director of Innovation at Whirlpool Corporation, Moises was pivotal in shaping corporate innovation strategies and fostering a culture of creativity.
Throughout his career, Moises has played a key role in establishing innovation frameworks, leading numerous projects, and bringing market-leading innovations to life. His efforts across these organizations have delighted millions of customers, driven substantial growth, and positively impacted thousands of employees worldwide.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Moises is a founding member of Notre Dame University’s Certified Innovation Mentor program (now Notre Dame Futures Group) and has served as adjunct faculty for the university’s EMBA program. He’s also been a guest lecturer at prestigious institutions, including Northwestern University, Chicago Booth School of Business, the University of Michigan’s MBA program, Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, and the Gurgaon Management Institute in India. As a recognized thought leader, he has spoken at numerous conferences globally, with his insights featured in leading publications like Bloomberg, Forbes, and Fast Company. In 2013, he won the Harvard Business Review/MIX “Innovating Innovation” challenge.
Driven by a commitment to social impact, Moises is passionate about social entrepreneurship and has supported numerous non-profit organizations, including the Krasl Art Center, Habitat for Humanity, YWCA, Edison Awards, and the Southwest Michigan Orchestra.
Moises is truly a multi-faceted individual. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a master’s degree in Information Systems from La Salle University in Mexico City, as well as an MBA from Purdue University. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is an artist, traveler, photographer, cook, outdoor explorer, and music enthusiast—but above all, he is a devoted family man.
